Hello! I’m Barbara!

​

I’m a Brazilian photographer and visual marketing producer based in Melbourne, Australia.

​

Specialising in documentary and editorial work, I draw inspiration from my cultural roots in Brazil, influenced by classical anthropology, sociology, and contemporary studies on identity and human connection.

​​

I’m deeply moved by art and its power to challenge perception, and create change.

​

People are my way of understanding the world, their gestures, stories, and emotions guide how I see existence and shape the narratives I build through imagery.​

 

Over the past four years, I’ve directed and produced photoshoots from concept to completion for brands, artists, and weddings across Australia, Brazil, and Europe.

I’m also the co-founder and creative director of OP.ART, a collective dedicated to supporting and connecting emerging artists through exhibitions, content, and creative partnerships. Our movement has hosted music events and open galleries, bringing together artists from across the world
